PropNex Monopoly Championship

Terms and Conditions

PropNex Singapore Monopoly Competition is now open for registration. The actual competition will take place between May 2022 to August 2022 (“Competition”).


These rules are specially curated by PropNex to ensure fair game play and also smooth conduct of the Competition (the “Rules”). Headers are used for ease of reference, and such headers do not have any effect on the interpretation of the Rules. Participants must comply with these Rules at all times.

    Qualifying for the Competition

  1. There is no fee for the participation in this Competition.
  2. Each participant has only 1 chance to participate and play in the Competition.
  3. All
    1. real estate salespersons registered with CEA on the date of registration and
    2. staff of PropNex group of companies are not eligible to participate in this Competition.
  4. Further to 3, participants shall not be real estate salespersons registered with CEA and also not a staff of PropNex group of companies as at the date of Play.
  5. Participants must be 18 years of age and above as at the date of registration. PropNex may carry out necessary verification of Participants' age and identity before they enter the Event Hall. ID documents will not be copied.
  6. Participants will be required to comply with prevailing requirements by Singapore authorities before being allowed into the Play Area, including but not limited to vaccination requirements or pre-event testing for Covid-19.

    7. Registration and balloting

  7. Registration is now open and will close on 17 July 2022 unless extended.
  8. The first 3,600 registrants will automatically qualify to choose a Play Slot in the month of May 2022.
  9. If a Play Slot is not selected within 7 days from his/her registration, the registrant will lose the chance to choose a Play Slot, and will be placed under the next balloting exercise. He/she will have to undergo the balloting exercise and once balloted, he/she will be entitled to book a Play Slot in the month of June and July 2022.
  10. The 3,601 and onwards registrants will go through a balloting process to choose a Play Slot in the month of June and July 2022.
  11. If a Play Slot is not selected within 7 days from the date he/she is successfully balloted, the registrant will lose the chance to choose a Play Slot, and will be placed under the next balloting exercise. He/she will have to undergo the balloting exercise and once balloted, he/she will be entitled to book a Play Slot in the month of June and July 2022.
  12. All Play Slots and the number of registrants who will automatically qualify to choose a Play Slot or to be balloted will be subject to availability as determined by PropNex.
  13. Registrants who have successfully booked a Play Slot will be notified via SMS (via the number provided to PropNex) and Email (via the email address provided to PropNex). Such registrants will then become Participants.
  14. Once a Play Slot is allotted to the Participant, it cannot be changed unless the Participant provides no less than 7 days' notice from the Play Slot to PropNex. Any change shall be allowed and granted based on the sole and absolute discretion of PropNex.

    15. Monopoly Board Rules of Play

  16. Such Monopoly Board Rules of Play can be changed to increase the challenge level or for any other reasons at PropNex's sole discretion.
  17. The latest Monopoly Board Rules of Play will be notified to Participants via email after such amendments or announced before the start of the Play Slot.

    18. Conduct during Play Slot

  18. Participants who did not show up or show up 10 minutes after their Play Slot at the Event Hall will not be entitled to participate in the Competition.
  19. Participants are not allowed to leave the Event Hall during the Play Slot unless for emergency purposes and with the permission of the Game Marshall.
  20. Any Participant who are absent for more than 5 minutes from the game table will be disqualified from the Competition and the Participant's game assets shall be removed from the table and be disregarded for the computation of the results and winner of his Play Slot after the necessary dues are paid to the other Participants and/or the Banker.

    21. Instructions of Game Marshalls

  21. PropNex Game Marshalls may issue instructions to the Participants from time to time during the Play Slot which the Participants must comply with.
  22. The instructions will only be given in English and if the Participant is not clear about any of the instructions, the Participant must clarify with the Game Marshalls or PropNex representatives immediately.
  23. PropNex shall not in any manner whatsoever be responsible if any of the Participants should misunderstand or misinterpret such instructions.
  24. In the event of dispute, the Game Marshall's decision shall be final and all Participants shall accept and abide by any and all such decision. No appeals will be entertained.

    25. Publicity and promotion

  25. By registering for the Competition, all registrants and Participants agree to take part in any promotional or publicity exercise as may be conducted by PropNex in connection with the Competition.
  26. All registrants and Participants irrevocably and unconditionally grant to PropNex and/or PropNex's group of companies all necessary consents and waivers to record and use the Participant's name, images, video, performance, appearance, likeness, name and/or voice, as the case may be for publicity and promotional purposes.
  27. Registrants and Participants further agree and consent to PropNex and/or PropNex's group of companies collecting, using, disclosing and/or processing any and all personal data submitted to PropNex for various purposes including to organise the Competition, communicate with the Participants on the Competition, and to send other marketing and promotional communications to the Participants.

    29. Others

  29. Participants must be medically fit to participate in the Competition. PropNex will not be liable for any injury or loss suffered by the Participants of the Competition, or any loss or damage to the personal belongings of the Participants.
  30. Registrants and Participants must refer to this page from time to time for the latest updates on the Competition.
  31. Participants must comply with all safety measures imposed by the authorities which PropNex must undertake and put in place for the Competition.
  32. Registrants and Participants must not commit any action which may be disruptive to the Competition.
  33. Registrants and Participants are not allowed to nominate any other person to replace or play on behalf of the Participant in the Competition.
  34. Non-compliance or breach of any of the Rules will:
    1. immediately disqualify the Registrant or Participant from further participation at any stage of the Competition; and
    2. any prizes won or to be won shall be forfeited, withheld or withdrawn at PropNex's sole discretion.
  35. PropNex shall not be liable for any loss or consequences arising out of the non-compliance or breach.
  36. In the event of any dispute, PropNex's decision shall be final and no appeals will be entertained. All registrants and Participants shall accept and abide by any and all decisions made by PropNex concerning, including but not limited to, the rules of participation, these Rules, game format, the award and prize(s), and any other matters relating to the Competition.
  37. PropNex reserves the sole and absolute right to make any changes to the Rules, Monopoly Board Rules of Play, prizes, challenge dates and terms and conditions of the Competition or to cancel, postpone, suspend, or cease the Competition without prior notice or provide any reasons for the matters herein.
